yes...the deals were spectacular and the crowd of bidders was small.
the firearms are all from 'springfield sporters', which recently went out of business after 40 years of wholesale/retail sails of milsurp firearms and accoutraments.
the minimum selling quantity was 5 of one item, most of the time it was 100 of one item.
a very few were sold off individually.
it was a dealer-only auction and rs39 and i blew it off...thinking too many of the heavy hitters would be there to wage war against for a mere couple pallets of mausers.
while sarco was reported to have blown big bucks (and i mean big bucks!) on inventory, the deals were outstanding for those with a buck in their pocket.
rs39...how bad? really, really bad. we made a bad decision. i talked to mark, who did go, and he said he and other guys were tossing stuff in the trash because their vehicles and trailers were overloaded!!!
remember what i told you about the s-10 being able to haul only one pallet of rifles back? well, guys found out just how many 9 lb. rifles their fancy rigs could haul.
