i would like to know the total number of sar-2's sold since 1999. i'm sure it is a small amount when compared to the sar-1, but i would like to know.
add in all the home built and smith built ak-74's and the number is finally starting to amount to a blip on the radar. it's a shame the 5.45 hasn't achieved the level of popularity i feel it deserves. |

C.B., when I came over here a few months ago to get you folks to teach me something about AK's, I knew the 5.45 round existed but little else. I knew I was interested in this caliber ONLY after you folks explained the fact that the Soviets had mostly switched in 1974. Bet there's one or two more people on this site that also didn't know. |

My local gun shop will not carry SAR2's, he's got SAR1's and SAR3's. On his SAR3's the furniture is painted with a "mudd' color. Also, the elecric-pen that was used to etch the importers name looked like a 98 year old blindman had wrote it (very sloppy).

I could only afford two that day I stopped at AIM. I carefully carried them out to the truck. When I slid the boxes onto the front seat beside me one of the lids opened ever so slightly. A wonderful aroma reached out to me, beckoning me closer....
Yeah, 5.45x39 is pretty much Viagra for the rifleman's soul. |
