Please help ID AK...

Seller says the receiver is marked "Intrac" (not sure yet what else), says it is an underfolder and pre-ban. Sound legit or not? Any help to get me up to speed before I inquire further would be great!

All of the Intrac AKs are post ban,if it is a folder you'll want to steer clear of it.

find out what is the specific MODEL NAME/NUMBER stamped on the rifle, as well as the manufacturer's name and the serial number.

My WUM-1 is marked Intrac and to my knowledge they were not importing from Romania till after the ban.

INTRAC is postban.

Check for evil features and what it would cost to make 922r compliant. The underfolder can be permanently "fixed" with a small bit of weld on the mechanism inside the receiver.

Deduct that cost figure off what he is asking and decide whether it's worth it or not.

Have not had the chance to get further info, but I prefer to stay away from it and the seller given the input here. Thanks for the guidance.

Get it cheap, retrofit to 922r, and you may have a nice AK.....
