for a "TRUCK GUN", I would get nothing more than a SAR-1, Why pay a couple hundred more for a nice looking gun, when you can get a uglier gun and not worry about it being behind the seat and getting scratched, little rust, ect...

I’ve recently been keeping my SA 85M in the trunk I figure it fills the requirements of a truck/trunk gun.
Whenever I hit the road for a trip or get out to spend the night away from civilization I too carry my Glock model 20, you just can’t get more firepower in a handgun than that. -J |

I wouldn't spend that kind of money for a truck gun. I'v used a enfield bolt action for the last 10 years, but will be switching to an Centerfire sold AMD65 real shortly. $99 for the parts kit, $30.00 for the prebent receiver.

Although I think the idea of a truck gun is silly, If I was feeling that silly I would go with a SAR1.
