He must be some sort of broker or something. Helping to import from the former East Block to a 3rd country. He cant have the stuff in stock in the Canary Islands. I have been there three times this year all the time in Las Palmas where this guy is. Theres no for sale yard at the airport, or Hind-Ds. One side is the Civilian airport, the other is the Spanish Naval Air station. The Canary Islands would not be the best place to store a bunch of Military vehicles to sell anyways. Its a tiny island chain off the coast of Morocco owned by Spain. Theirs one small international airport, and the main shipping port is not that big.

What's the opinion here from KenR or Campybob or anyone?

It's not a huge secret that I want an SVD. Is it possible that these parts/rifles are of Czech manufacture?

It's probably legit. International arms dealers are a dime a dozen in europe. Very few laws regulating them as long as they don't sell in Europe. However, it's very doubtful he can legally import anything into the usa. That last email I read seems to indicate that he will get what you want to a ship for export, where you inspect it, ok it, finish paying for it, and become responsible for all further transportation (and import paperwork) So he's just selling stuff, he doesn't care where you'r from, as long as you have money to buy, he'll get it to a dock in his country, and then hand it over to you. Big profit margin, since he doesn't have to worry about laws and import regs.
