Dummy receiver? I'd bet this is one of those demill guns.

I'd also bet one could get some interesting Soviet Krink parts out of it if they were willing to spend the money.

Oh yeah, and just how long do you suppose it took him to photoshop that orange onto the muzzle?

I wonder what they did to the receiver to "demill" it?

I think we're working under the assumtion that it's not actually a dummy receiver.  It would seem more likely that it's a demill that somehow got in country and the seller doesn't want to raise any flags.

I've never seen any detailed looking dummy receivers like that.

Then again the ad states these are museum pieces where details are important. It dosnt look like any receiver i've ever seen, particularly the selector area...

I cant tell ... does it have the evil 3rd hole?

There is a dealer that covers the gunshow curcuit in the New England area that has had one of these for over 10years. This guy has had a price of $3000. and stated that it was custom made for him.

Its highly detailed.  The only thing that I noticed that was out of the ordinary was the dimple on each side of the reciever was more like a milled out hole and not pressed.  It had 90* edges and not rounded like our guns do.
