These are built on new receivers that are made as such.......not converted AR lowers. Surplus ammo? You don't need to buy "Surplus" 7.62x39 when you can buy new production for $75 a case. Yes they look great and run even better! |

I think a lot of people, including myself, are afraid of these because the ar47 site registrant is about 2.44 miles from the tactical-weapons site registrant. ;)

it still does not address the major problem with the 7.62 x 39 ar platform.
broken bolt lugs. you remove the meat by enlarging the bolt face to accept the m43 round and you weaken the lug webing. the result: you get to know your replacement bolt salesman very well. if you want a x39 ak...buy it. if you want a .223 ar ...buy it. buy the hybred at your own risk. remember folks. the ar bolt was never designed to be sized for the x39 round. now that arma has introduced the 6.8mm spc round...i think we'll see another contender for 'bolt-bustin' champion. |

I took a quick look at those Sat. $1100 for some kind of "frankengun"? No thanks. I heard the woman there praising them a little too much. Ya could get a coupla "real" AKs for the money.
