Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bulgarian Hobo flash hider question

I have a few questions about the Bulgarian Hobo flash hider.

1. Why is it called the "Hobo"?
2.  Is the Hobo compatible with all AK rifles chambered for 762x39, 545x39 and 556x45? Or are there caliber specific Hobos? ie one for 762 AK, one for 556 AK ect.
3. Will the Hobo lock on to my plunger pin on the front sight of my pre ban SA85? I know the adapter will but will the flash hider itself?

Is this the cylinder shaped flash hider?  I've never heard the "Hobo" thing before myself.

Yes that is the one. The one that comes apart, and has three pieces to it.
