Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - PSOP 4x24 scope - any good?

I see that several places have Russian PSOP 4x24 scopes for sale for under $100. I was thinking about getting one for my SAR-1 with the 400m reticle.
Are these any good? How are the optics in these?

Yes, they're exceptional scopes for the $$.  They've build like tanks.  I have one on my .223 VEPRII.  www.nightvisionweb.com seems to have the best prices and support.  Make sure you get the one with the 'SAR' mount (PSOV I believe).  The guys at NVW can help you get the right one if you're confused.

Good glass, great deal. Expect a faint yellow hue to the view (yours is not dirty).

Just fyi, I saw these scopes on sale at Centerfire Systems for $79.
