Yeah I know all about the wolf in AR's and frankly I wont risk it.

But with my AK's and SKS's Wolf is what I grab first. Dint get me wrong, I have tried many types of other 7.62 and 5.45 ammo out there. Some have even been more accurate than Wolf. But they were not as fresh, and not as cheap.

Wolf is what I have on hand for SHTF and I am stocking it by the thousands for my AK47's and AK74's.

I know Wolf has some durability factors that are probably very hard to match as well. I know that I have used a round or two as take down tools on some very stubborn rifles. A Brass cased round would have been all bent to hell and maybe not have been safe to shoot afterwards.

I have washed Wolf rounds in my pockets on full cycle, hot water and then dried them in the hot ass dryer for an hour.

Took them to the range and they worked just as the out of the box Wolf.

Wolf for AR's? - Nah I'll stick with the USGI and IMI for fighting/hoarding.

Wolf for my AK's & SKS's - Praise the lord and pass the ammunition. I'll take Wolf into battle and not blink an eye.

M4 I could not agree with you more! If im shooting my AK chances are im gonna be blasting away with it in notime.Maybe in a 7.62 AR would I shoot good brass, but c'mon that wolf ammo is DESIGNED to cycle through AK's.

Lots of Wolf has been thru my AKs, narry a problem with it.  Its dirty, but AKs can handle that with no problems.  It is too cheap not to stock up.

Honestly, I dont see much difference in how dirty it is compared to other ammo.

Try Uly and you'll see your group sizes cut in half, your AKs cleaner and no awful smell.

I have a few 700 round tuna cands of that stuff and I was wondering how it was to shoot. Since I havent shot any of it.

~Also, does the Uly look exactly like Wolf ammo? Green case, red sealant on the neck and primer?

And their .45 at .12/round is great for my pistol! 2" groups of 10 at 25' is fine for a handgun, at a price I can afford to keep practicing with as well.

Yeah, it's a good thing.  

I love knowing that the very same ammo that is cheapest is also the same ammo that is right for the job.  

Wolf smells like the Ruskies make the sulfur from urine, but it does the job.....

Can anybody tell me where I can buy Uly?  Also, do they make 5.45?

Just burned 8 mags through my Krebs AK103K today.  My homie cut a  furring strip in half with less than 10 shots from 10 yards.  

Dillon Precision has Uly hollow point for $89 1000 rounds. I live only a few miles from them and picked it up in person. It looks just like Wolf but shoots better and is much cleaner.

CheaperThanDirt has it selling for $75/1000.  With shipping it comes out to about $85/1000.

Those guys amaze me, however.  I bought 2000 rounds of the stuff and figured the shipping weight would be about 70 pounds.  While I was tracking the box, I couldn't help but notice the weight they entered for FedEx was 14.97 pounds!

Now let's see...2000 x 122 bullet = 34 pounds, and that's just the bullet.  Figure that much again for the case, powder and primer; that's 68 pounds.  Add in the shipping material and you've got 70 pounds.

Where the heck do they come up with 14.97?  And doesn't the poor FedEx guy bust a gut picking up the box (it was all in one box about a foot square by 6 inches tall.)

BTT.  Amen.  I have stocked up on Wolf 7.62X39 as well.  I don't know how long it will be cheap and available.

My AR eats Q3131A, but my AK eats Wolf!

Where to for Uly 5.45?  I'm curious about the stuff.

I've shot plenty of Wolf with no complaints. 7.62x39, .223, 5.45x39 and 9mm all work fine in my guns. With a .223 AK and the urge to empty some mags, Wolf is the way to go, 1000 rounds for the price of 500.

Of course you can say that you love Wolf ammo here and you won't get a dissenting opinion.  Hop on over to the AR15 side and say the same thing.  I was terrified to post that I have a Kobra sight on my AR carbine.  I love it too, by the way.

Personally I laugh at the guys who slam wolf on the AR side.  It means more for me and I shoot twice as much as they do for half the price. Other than the few mags of duty ammo I keep ready, I buy only wolf or barnaul.  Its accurate enough, shoots well, functions well, and is cheap.  I see no reason at all to buy anything else for any of my rifles.  Now rimfire  I buy bulk pack, wolf rimfire ammo is too expensive for me.

I can only imagine.  There are a lot of VERY judgmental folks over there.  That and survivalists galore.
