I saw a good program recently on the people making "Ithica Side-by-Side" shotguns.....not your old Ithica, but the hand made $$$$$$$$$ variety.....

.....anyway, the guy doing the show said some recent purchases have caused him to add to his prayers:

.....and Lord, after I die, please don't let my wife sell these guns for what I told her I paid for them....

....apply to anyone else here?

man...i can see some of my pride n'joys going for like $25 at a garage sale!

i maintain a s/n list with price paid and current value.

no escaping reality for me! damnit!

Where might one find a "blue book" for firearms?

I know what I've paid for my collection, but hey, would like to know replacement value for insurance purposes.

Ususally The "Blue Book" is understood to be Steve Fjstad's Blue Book of Gun Values. It is available yearly in paperback, and electronically.
