At least, in my humble opinion.  Two of my rifles shot horrible groups, and I use the term lightly, at 100 yards.  I could barely keep it on the paper with a WASR and a Saiga.  My next trip I'm going to see how my SSR does with it, as in the past I've seen that rifle shoot 2" at 100 yards.

I guess I'll have to switch brands, and maybe find something that they can digest well.  I'm not expecting sub-MOA accuracy, but in the past with other ammo the Saiga has done reasonably well.

Variation in chambering, headspace and bore can affect each gun's pet load. But check out the ammo forum for the 7.62 ammo test. I find that SP both groups and expands better than HP in either brand.

I dont buy wolf for precision ammo, I buy it when I want to just blow the heck out of the ground and any cans or paper that get in the way

I've heard that the Wolf HP is the most accurate, as opposed to the FMJ stuff. Which were you using?

"Wolf HP Stinks!"

This is why I was so surprised, since I'd read quite a few positive range reports from folks here.

Again, the jury's still out as I haven't shot this batch in my Global rifle.  I'll post when I get a chance to go to the range.

You know it does quite literally stink.   Smelly ammo indeed, I think we can all agree to that.

I've shot about 500 rounds of Wolf HP and over 500 rounds of Wolf FMJ from an SAR-1. With the Wolf HP, I've experienced a 1% misfire rate, while I have had none with the Wolf FMJ. The HP and FMJ were purchased in 500-round packs from different retailers.

I was going to post that. The stuff smells like ammonia.

I've had bad luck with Wolf as well. I picked up 1,000 rounds of Ulyanovsk hollow point for $89 at Dillon that shoots great and is super clean.

What are you guys doing sniffing your ammo?

It happens when I shoot...I wish I didn't smell it...

I've never tried the HP in 7.62X39, but have had satisfactory results with the 5.45X39 HP
