OK, this is probably a newbie question, but how do I remove the wood buttstock from the receiver of my SAR-1? I unscrewed the two screws at the top, but don't see any others, and it truly will not budge. Am I missing something?

It's probably wedged in there pretty tight.  You can use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it out from the front end.

I just changed mine out a couple weeks ago, I tried the whole prying thing as listed on this website:

linx310.nothingbutguns.com/

to no success. I finally got it out by tapping on either side (the flatside that is) of the butstock with a hammer, wiggled right out easily. It also helped that I put the thing in a vice.

On that website above there are all sorts of helpful stuff for the Romainian Ak's.
