just wondering if I can leave my mak90 loaded and ready for action. i want to be able to store it for many years and if something happens I still want it to be reliable.

SPrings do not weaken due to constant compression.


The way the do weaken is from constant compression and decompression, ie. loading and unloading the same magazine, many, many times(this is outside of normal operational use).

really? well that makes sense though a spring is meant to take a set and be compressed.

So how many rounds does it take to weaken a 40rd spring?  they feel pretty strong.
