Hope it rained and your guns all jammed!
Seriously, did you all have fun? Weather cooperate? Piss of a few liberals? Hope everyone had a good and safe time and the med tent went unneeded. Maybe next year! |
Hi Lorie. do I know you? I only know one AR nut named Lorie from NY and she has terrible taste in men .
Helldog, put that down... Helldog, I was just kidding... Hey HEY that hurts! Owowowowow |
hey, next year WE are going...did you see that fire? wow....we missed out my friend Repeat after me... Gunstock......Gunstock......Gunstock.... |
Lorie, I'd love to go to gunstock, but airfare and hotels are not in the budget for this Fall... with any luck getting a new car might be... Trying to be good and not spend money, have not been doing all that well lately in that regard... Have found plenty of ways to cut expenses and save money, yeah! Found even more things that needed a good home... and you know me, my door is always open to a nice orphan firearm!
I understand.....perhaps the Gun Fairy will make a visit...miss ya, hope we can see you soon!
just got back home. Real nice weather and seemed like a pretty good turnout. I got there a little late so I was at the FAR end of the line.
first nice weekend here in NY , no desire to go to Bulletfest, worked all week, went shooting this morning, took the boat out this afternoon
in the ocean couldnt be any better |
Helldog40.... That's who's in the picture? Are those white tube socks pulled up or are those his legs?

The bandwidth limit has been reached - that's why you are getting those red X's |

The weather and the day were Glorious. When I last saw helldog he and goatboy were just returning from the store with the evenings libations. Met too many peole to mention and of course extended and renewed old friendships.
Engineer - I have your tent, chairs, and Mags at my house, we should be home tuesday evening but have obligations tomorrow and Monday. |
I had some first contact with 5.45 brass from two sections down. Took two in the head and one in mouth before I could hit the deck. it was great |
from what I could tell the Cetme's won the brass slingin contest. I saw one fella get pellted from a Cetme shooter about 30ft. away.
I got nailed with some brass pretty hard over in MickeyMouse's hangout - he was kind enough to let me play with some of his toys. He caught one right in the head!
AAWWwwwww Hiram you are a gash! I just got in from a 12 hour trip home and it was worth every single minute of it! YOU MISSED OUT!
So someone post some pics of the action!!!
What did I miss??? Guess I will be there next year! KF "Still Deployed" |
Had a great time, my pics will be up after sleep. 13 hours drive time back kinda takes it outa ya.
Had a great time! I got pelted a few times by my canopy mates, but my Cetme threw the brass gently fwd thanks to my HK port buffer :) The 6-20x scoped AR rocked for taking knobs off of appliances, the Yugo Mauser was great for moving the steel fire extinguishers, And the 47/74s just plain rocked! Damn I love that PO 3.5x scope with a few hundred targets!!!
And I bought another RSA trigger set for a souvenier. |
it was great to see all of you again!
as usual, bulletfest expirienced the one moron in the crowd syndrome...but, other than that the emails and phone calls have been 100% positive! and thanks to those that helped me out at bulletfest!!!! i couldn't do it without YOUR assistance! |
That's a good one, LMFAO. |
It was GREAT!! Really enjoyed meeteing all of you who stopped by the booth to say hi! Looking forward to next year.
Mike |
I can't say that I "hate" them, but I have been a funny shade of green latley(from envy).
Damn sorry I missed it again this year! Who was the moron, and what did he/she do? HOPEFULLY it wasn't a board member! |
Sorry we could not come this year but we went to the Sunset Hill Range in PA with 10 rifles and one shotgun. My friends had their pistols, rifle and shotgun we had a blast shooting for 8 hours.
We almost had a nice red convertible to shoot... since some moron left it parked all morning about 50 feet from the target line.
This was my first bulletfest, and it was great. Met some new people and shot a few hundred rounds before some asshole shot over the berm. I'll be there next year if there is one. |
Hey! I thought you guys said Miss RSA would be there! |
Ya. You said she'd be there Ken www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=64&t=56477&page=1 |

I really enjoyed Campy calling all us first timers rookies. It made me feel like a kid again.
Spent my time with TZ99 which I met there. Hell of a guy. We had a a blast, literaly. One fine fellow let me shoot his .50 sniper rifle. I have the fever bad now. I want one, I want one, I want one. Tell you the truth, everyone I met at the event were great people. I guess we are all warped the same way. Fantastic event, sorry I wasn't able to hook up with more of you guys but short of walking around yelling your names which you couldn't hear for gun fire anyway, I couldn't figure out how to do that. Billy and I had a ball. Thanks Campy for all your hard work. Tj |
I really wished I could've met you TJ - but there's just no way to know who is who, the only person I randomly said 'hi' to was Sparsky, because he had an ARFCOM shirt on.
There were a few people smart enough to put their board names on tags on their shirt. I WAS'NT one of them. Another good shoot. THANKS CAMPY!
I believe plane ticket issues kept her from getting to BF IV. Oh well, I guess we'll have to try again soon. |
I grabbed stickers the night before (about 20) but sadly left them on the floor. Luckily, Grock gave up his name tag for my sake, and later, someone (I think Helldog40, but I'm not sure) gave me an official AR15.com New York Division name tag! Thanks to whoever it was. |
Nametags should have been required. I knew there were AR15 guys all around, but only a few had nametags on.
I didn't know you were there. If I had I probably could have found you since I've seen your pic so many times. Billy and I both would have got a kick out of meeting you. Next time, I'll wear a neon sign that says Tom Jefferson. |
I still can't believe I forgot my friggin' nametags! I walked almost down to where you were, I was looking for somebody that had an MP5. I saw that mortar, actually. Too bad I didn't walk on down, I guess. |
the idiot was someone with either an sks or ak-47 that lobbed a clean shot (not a ricochet) clean over not one, but two, huge friggin' hills and hit a house 1-1/8 mile away...and the house was not even on a 'normal' flight path. it was way left of the targets/aiming points.
HOLY SHIT! I hope no one was hurt, and the dumbass was identified and kicked off the range. |
Bob,
was it that red brick house? OMG that is far away! that is the only house I saw on the left over there on the way out |
Down Sage down... that girl would hurt you... stick to something with training wheels... like the Olson Twins.
Well, I would be willing to try anyway. |
Don't suppose some one took a pot shot at that Cesna, do you? Mike |
