I was wondering if anyone in South Central Ohio (Chillicothe, Lancaster, Waverly, or even Portsmouth, Wheelersberg... any of those towns had a good, tried and true route to Bulletfest.

I've been looking at my big Ohio road map and have found a few different routes but i'm just wondering anyone from Ohio or a southern border state has a good route through Ohio to get there.

thanks for any help

I'm about 10 miles from 22 so I'm going from there to I-70 to I-77 etc.

campy,

Sounds like you know really good routes and different ones?

I live in Chillicothe... which route would be fastest?

thanks

Campy and Wes...

Also what is the estimated time from Chillicothe? I was thinking around 3 hours? Is that a low estimate?

Also would 159 through Tarlton to Lancaster to 33 to 37 west (towards Newark) then I70 be any faster?

I'm looking for the shortest most suitable route and i'm having a hard time deciding. There seems to be no real "straight shot" there.
kinda sucks

Campy,

So what is the route you would suggest then out of the many availabe? If you had to pick one route and you wanted it to be the fastest route.

I guess I need to take into account that it will be Friday in Columbus I'm thinking I might want to stay away from that.

When you were biking down here did you stop at Hopewell Culture (Mound City) National Park?

please advise

thanks

Wes,

You consider taking 37 west towards Newark and hitting 70 there. I'm thinking it might be faster then going towards Zanesville....

maybe
I gotta look at the map more and think

actually 22 is more of a straigther line to Minerva. 37 would get you faster to the highway (70) though... what do you guys think is faster... going through zanesville or hitting 37 to I70

ALSO, Why take 30 to 183? Why not take 800 there? Is it better to go through Canton

PLEASE HELP

Hell Slov, it these guys won't help. I'll meet you at the Cambridge exit off 70 and we can get lost together.  I guess I'm following Mapquest.

Tom,

It honestly doesn't look that bad. After looking at the Map I bet I could get there just from memory now.

I am going to take 159 from my town (chillicothe) to Lancaster area and pick up either 37 west (actually goes north LOL) to I70 or take 22 towards zanesville to 70...
just gotta find out what is quicker. I know 37 to 70 isn't bad at all I used to drive it going to college. 22 might be a different story and going through or around zanesville. I haven't done that. Both are 2 laners.
As long as you get to I70 your doing good. You just run it until you pick up I77 then your running North. Then I'm thinking I am gonna pick up either that 30 or 800 to hit 183 then from 183 you just hit that Arrow Road I think and your there....
might work like that?

YEAH RIGHT HAHAHA :)
