Well, are you suggesting Dansammo? I think you need to be more clear! Any other imput/places to buy anyone? Also, anyone bought ammo from Hitach? I'd like to know if it's going to show up some time.

I only buy from Dan's after the Ammunition store ROYALY screwed me over! I placed an order, a week later...it still hasn't showed up, I called back and was informed they needed to take it to a gun show!...another week goes by...still no ammo...call back they are out! SOLD it all at a show! Tells me it will ship in 3 weeks, called Dan's and ordered same thing was told it would ship that day and it did! Here is the kicker... The ammunition store charged my CC from DAY ONE! they stole my money for 2 weeks! F$CK em! I will never do business with people like that again!

sounds like Dan's is the way to go. To bad they only sell in lots of 750, I prefer to buy 500 rounds at a time.

i buy from Centerfire Systems when they run a special, 1,000 rounds for 99.97 shipped.

Midway the big reloaders supply outfit (and lot of other stuff) sells Wolf in 5.45x39 not really cheap, but they do list it in the new big catalog.
I get Wolf at bigger gun shows for $100 case of 1000 rounds. I got some Barnaul soft point in 5.45x39 from Aim Surplus last Fall, the SP has short bullets but dis not shoot as well as Wolf for me (no misfeeds, but accuracy not so hot) in my SAR-2. www.midwayusa.com |

Ammunitionstore had Barnul and Wolf in stock last Tuesday, 06-17-03. $84.14/750 on the former.

I placed an order with Amunitionstore last week, and it has not arrived yet. They told me it was in stock and ship the same day. It has only been five working days, so it should be here early next week.
This is the first time I have ordered from them, and I hope it is a good experience. |
