I've been thinking about trying to match some spraypaint to the color of the K-var plum stock set so I can have a matching "display" mag for my Krebs. I've got a Russian Plum mag, but the color and the gloss of the mag isn't a very good match for the K-var plum. I figure I could spray a Bulgy black synthetic mag or two to match. Anyone have any idea about how to go about finding a color match? Is there a spraypaint anyone is aware of that would be close in color/luster to the k-var furniture?

Note: before someone brings it up, I'm hardly interested in "forging" the Soviet plum mag, as I have no intention of changing any markings on the bulgy mags, I just would like a mag that matches my furniture.

Sounds like a plan. I'll look into it, and if it works well enough I'll post the mix on this forum.  Meanwhile, if anyone else has any ideas that would be cool also.
