Fargo, for now I edited my serial number. Please explain why I shouldn't post it? It was legally obtained. I no longer have it my posession, gary does.

Because someone can report it stolen.

Because someone could hijack your weapon serial number, commit numerous crimes, implicate you....etc. etc. The possibilities are endless...

Have to agree with Fargo....recommend those of you affected by this fiasco only publicize your last two or three....

trading serial numbers in private (im or email) is preferrable.

99.5% of us are honest folks. but that .5% can take advantage of the honest folks and make life miserable for us.
