I was not sure of the meaning of "Bling Bling "so I consulted my wife's 17 year old brother.  He advised me that it is the fairly worthless jewelry worn by young males in order to identify them to their peers and young females as being in some way desireable to socialize with.  In other words its cheap useless junk that someone thinks looks cool.  I gotta admit however that the hood ornament is a nice touch.

Where's the grenade launcher?

Please don't use that term 'bling bling' again, though.  It makes me sick to my stomach because I know what sort of punks use the term, and...well...ick.  I'd rather raise rats than kids like that.  You're better than that, CampyBob!

Good grief. Maybe that's why they have gun control laws in Asian countries. If I saw people doing that crap to their AR-15s around here in St. Louis, I might call the BATF on them as well! LOL!

Of course you DO realize that the hood ornament, Swiss Army type knife, spotlight, keys, and compass are all photoshopped on, right?

What's left is STILL a little extreme!

Its a PPS-42.  Its the gun they made during the seige of leningrad.  It is 7.62 X 25.

There is a varient called the PPS-43, but externally they are identical, and 99% identical insideas well so you could be correct.

The Russians got rid of every single model right after WWII, most were sent to Korea, but you would be surprised to see what shows up in Korea.

As for the AR, ............... well, thats just lame. I wonder what exactly the situation is that he is trying to be prepaired for?  I sure as hell don't want to be there.

At least I finnaly learned what Bling Bling meens.  I am sooooooooo "unhip".

RiceAR guy in the pic is the chief designer for Surefire, thank you very much.

Edited to add, if I remember correctly his name is Paul Kim.

Don't knock the 7.62 X 25 round. Its balistics from the Russian PPS series sub-guns mirrors the 45acp round.  MANY Germans fell to this round. My Grandfather was wounded by it twice, the second one cought him in the left temple from the front taking a large chunk of his skull away from above and behind his left eye. (This was in fighting around lake Balaton in Hungary) This was a shot fired from roughly 30 meters away.  He was out of the war until the fall of Vienna.

The gun was as low tech as you can get, but it worked.  It worked so well Stalin had the designers "disapear", because he didn't want to many "heros" around.

Edited to add: with all that crap on the AR, did anyone else notice the bird cage was on sideways?

Ober, if your Grandad got Tok'ed in the bubblegoose and lived, I think it is fair for us to laugh at the PPSh.

It was a glancing shot to the head, but still took a large hole.  The little commie bastard was spraying from the hip as he entered the romm, and my grandfather was tossing a grenade into the room as he was running out as a presant.

I don't want to hijack this thread any more, but I have shot the round a lot my self, it penetrates like crazy, is accurate, and is far more powerfull than a 9mm.
