I have an old model 1894 - 4 digit serial # in the low 2000 number range. Its a .32-40, octagon barrel, in decent shape for a gun that old. It needs some smith work done on the internals. I was thinking about having it restored but was told this would kill the value.

Anyone know of a gunsmith that is REALLY good with winchesters? This rifle has been in the family since new and would like to get it in firing condition.

Thanks!

Thanks Campy, I will start doing some calling and research. Not really worried about the price as long as its done correct.
