over 4000 rds thru my sar-2 with rra fire control...not a care in the world.
the biggest concern is for those that hose there guns down with harsh solvents. this 'may' loosen up the loctite on the setscrews...a condition easily cured with a re-application of loctite.
that said, i run my guns soaking wet with clp, car oil, lsa, remoil, tractor wheel bearing grease. any of the locals on the board can bear witness to me coming off the line with oil spots all over my glasses!!!
and none of these petroleum and synthetic lubricants have loosened up my setscrews....and as a demo set, that got swapped around in several rifles and tuned to suit various shooting conditions, the screws got adjusted on plenty.
all told, there has never been an advancement in the accuracy of the production ak as is achieved by installing the redstararms fire control parts.
now, if they would only build a top cover rear apeture sight setup, i would be in heaven!
