So if I understand the compliance according to Sec 922r and the US parts necessary to “De-ban” it appears that if u have a US magazine which counts as three parts 1. Body 2. Floor plate 3.Follower and a US made stock set 1. Butt stock 2 pistol grip 3. Upper/lower forearms for a total of 6 US parts .  Is this correct ? Thanks Jimmy

It actually depends on the configuration of your AK, but the rule is no more than 10 parts can be imported. The ATF determined the AK can be as many as 16 parts, so you pick and choose as long as you don't have more than 10 imported parts:
Receiver
Barrel
Trunnion
Muzzle attachments
Bolt
Bolt carrier
Gas piston
Trigger
Hammer
Disconnector
Buttstock
Pistol grip
Forearm handguards (two handguards count as one item)
Magazine body
Magazine follower
Magazine floorplate

So, for example, if your AK doesn't have a threaded barrel, that's one less part that has to be changed out. Equally, if the muzzle attachment is permanently attached to the barrel, it counts as part of the barrel and not an extra part.

Just buy a used AK that someone else de-banned. Then the parts count doesn't matter.

Honestly:

U.S. Made:
Muzzle Device
Pistol Grip
Stock
Handguard
Trigger Group (Trigger and Disconnector count as 2)

Should be enough for compliance. This will let you use surplus magazines.

Trigger group should be three; trigger, disconnector and hammer.

yes

the parts count doesn't matter

what matters is the parts count when YOU put parts on it.

Section 922(r), Title 18, U.S.C., makes it unlawful for any person to assemble from imported parts any semiautomatic rifle or any shotgun which is identical to any rifle or shotgun prohibited from importation under section 925(d)(3) of the GCA. Regulations implementing the law in 27 C.F.R. 478.39 provide that a violation of section 922(r) will result if a semiautomatic rifle or shotgun is assembled with more than 10 of the following imported parts:
