Sorry no pics......but for anybody having problems with the cheek slap cutting 1" off the length was perfect.

I removed the buttpad...measured exactly 1" and used a simple circular saw with a trim blade. Cut is nice and clean with barely any chipping. After cutting the stock the butt plate will be bout 1/4" too long. I scribed the new stock to the buttpad and used a belt sander to reshape to fit the sock. Pre drilled new screw holes and re installed the buttpad and I was done.

What a difference! NO more cheek slap and when bringing the rifle up the sites come in perfectly!
