So the gap is cosmetic...no biggie.  I thought about taking some material off of the front of the grip so that it would "mate" to the pg plate.  After looking at the grip I decided not to...I wasn't convinced that the ribs would be able to support the grip after modifying. The grip sides are flush with the pg plate.

I opted for low tech solution, a piece of fuzzy velcro.







So far I like the grip and the angle does not feel funny.  Mag changes feel better since the grip is bigger.  Can't wait to get some rounds down range with it.

I think black gasket sealant or black epoxy would work better.

You could cut a little piece of ABS plastic to fit the gap, and epoxy it to your grip, that would be the best solution and look great.

Anyone know how thick the gap is?

but really it looks like 1/8 or less

As much as I like the grip and think there is a better option to "fix" it, I'm going back to the oem grip.

The backstrap positions my thumb second joint further back which rubs the hinge pin now.  

I might look into a ronin grip and see if anything shares a pg plate footprint.
