I don't know which one is actually stronger but I have both Tapco and K-Var stocks and the tapco is heavier plastic, and substantially beefier feeling...

It is not as pretty though!

Yes, the three separate and drastic sales they've had this summer are a little odd. Generally, when companies behave like this, it's because they're having cash flow problems. (The best way to raise cash quickly, is to sell your inventory dirt cheap.)

I certainly can't speak to the state of KVAR's finances. But if I had to make an educated guess, I would guess that they're not having these sales simply because they're swell guys. These sales have the appearance of problematic financial issues.

I hope I'm wrong.

Prices are back up.

I was gonna pick up some of those cheaper mags. Oh well.

I am not paying $80 for a 45 round 5.45 mag, that's for dang sure.

Their "sale" prices are what I would like to see them charge every day. Given the recent sales, I won't buy anything until the next sale pops up. I'll just compile a list of what I want and keep it handy until the next sale.

Anyone else having a problem getting their orders? I ordered parts on 9/10 and was told they would be shipped on 9/14. No emails so I called them yesterday, 9/16. The guy on the phone said they were to busy to check. Called them today and they said they were out of stock on one item so what did I want to do? I cancelled the order. Nothing I really had to have any way. When all the hysteria is over, and the ordering slows,I will remember who had the best and worst service.

I ordered 2 of their $29.99 (sale price) warsaw length buttstocks last week and I got them yesterday.

I'm skeptical about all this fear that they are in financial trouble. Why can't we just be happy about the great sale prices?

My stuff finally arrived today. I must say that the US made brake is really nice of course it should be for the price they charge. It is much nicer then the original Arsenal brake; finer machined with a much larger opening.
