Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AK Front Sight Post

Are all the front sight posts used on AK's and SKS's the same thread and diameter/height?

The front sight post is broken on a AMD 65 Kit I have,one of the legs snapped off.

Also, anywhere replacements can be purchased , or will I need to find a complete front assembly?

Yes, standard part, widely available. Front sight windage and elevation tools are also very good to have for any AK.
