Here's a part that interests me, but $40.00 seems a little steep for it.
Mag release extension Does anyone know of any other products that will make it easier for me to do quick AK mag changes... (my Romak is finnicky with mags, sometimes the damn mag release latch is almost impossible to push  )

Looks pretty basic. Bet if you where handy you could make your own.

Yeah, I could probably rig something. But if there's something like this on the net for ≈ $5.... I'd prefer to not go to the trouble. I'm just hoping the AK gurus will bless me with their knowledge.

Dont know about others. The PWS is good. I have one I like it because it is bolt on so easy on and off. I have had one for about a year and It has never fallen off. I believe they redesigned it about a year ago. Before the inside was aluminum its is now steel or so I have been told. I like it makes mag changes easy on your fingers.

ETA* I'm going to try and fabricate and extension instead of buying one.
Thanks a lot for the tips guys... I'm gonna go to a hardware store for inspiration.. if I'm struck with genious and I make something awesome, I'll post pics and stuff. If I am struck with idiocy and mangle my mag release.. I'll pretend like nothing happened

Mine is a IMI Galil latch. Requires minor fitting and looks factory. Found mine on gunbroker.com for about $10.
