What is the difference between the AK103 and the AK47?
Does the current russian military use the AK103, 47, or 74?
Also, what are your opinions on the AK103K (AK103 with 14.3 inch barrel)  Anyone own or have any experience with one?  Would you prefer the 14.3 inch barrel over the 16.3?

Sorry for all the questions, I am going to have AKUSA build an AK for me and I don't know which way to go.

Thanks for the feedback

AK47 is a milled rifle with wood furniture and a 45 degree gas chamber.
AK103 is a stamped gun with poly furniture, left-side folding solid stock and a 90 degree gas block (there are other differences but these are the most obvious to the layman)
Russian military I believe uses the AK74M and is transitioning to the AK-105
I have an AK103, it is a fantastic AK.
I dont like the 103K. I used to have one, but I didn't like that I could not remove the brake to access the muzzle for cleaning. YMMV.

Um, the AK-105 is 5.56mm, not 5.45mm. Don't you mean AK-102?
