I am going to build another AK. This one will have the Beryl stock..and rail system..already have them.

I want something light and handy like the Krink...but with the Beryl rail..
Onyks bastard perhaps?

I am considering different calibers right now.

5.45 cheap and compatble with my 74s
5.56 not cheap, but compatible with my Ars
7.62 moderatley cheap and compatible with my 47s

I am leaning towards the 5.45 for several reasons....
cheap
minimal recoil
I find acceptable accuracy out to ranges I would use it for...

Lets hear everyones ideas...what caliber, and setup..

And post pics if you have gone a similar route.

If I didn't have two rifles in 5.45 I would have a 105 built up.
