Finally shot my Polish Underfolder this past weekend. Sighted it in the best I could but I will need to go back for fine tuning at 100 yards. I bought this excellent grade all matching numbers kit off of EE and bought the compliance parts and sent it to Mark T. Graham at Arizona Response Systems for the build. That was about 5 years ago and it's been a safe queen ever since. But in light of recent events it got activated. I'm looking at putting optics on it for aging eyes. I like the Attero Sight System because I don't want to drill a side rail into it. Anybody have experience with that system. Probably put a red dot of some sorts on it.

Got a nice zero on this russian 5.45x39 at 50yd, too bad the scope adjustment is not fine enough to get it exactly centered. Not the .45 holes in the top

Grabbed a new Scalarworks mount. Didn’t even think about this but I can see the irons through the mount. Definitely an awesome setup.

Built up this 74 from a Bulgarian kit from when I worked at TGI. $85 kit, $30 receiver. 75 cent magazines.

I did a thing with the last of my AK-74 parts that I had been hording. Made an adapter so I could run a tailhook brace on the PT-3 stock:
   Cut the flash hider tines off of a Krebs Custom IMS and faced it in the lathe so that I could run all 24mm muzzle devices. Remove the IMS system and you get a 1/2-28 barrel thread:

I gotta say the weather did make for some interesting fireballs. The 74 style break on this 10/63 was insane. Normally I would have even noticed it but it was shooting some fireballs.

Two SLR107FR's. Bottom one is brand new out of the box and never been fired. Still deciding what I want to do with it.
 Bonus: I ran my Tigr in a local match for the memes and it was awesome... well except for moving it in and out of the barricade.

It’s parkerized because it got rusty from the cheap Chinese ammo he was shooting, and the home-brew chemicals he made to clean off the rust removed the bluing from the gas tube and barrel. He had the rifle park’d in 1991 & threw it in the back of his safe, where it’s been until I bought it. It came with 300 rounds of Russian ammo, 8 Chinese flat-back mags, 3 of them chrome-follower/witness holes Poly mags, two Euro 30 rounders from Poland & Yugoslavia, two gen 1 Magpuls, and a Russian top-loading 75rd RPK drum. Not a bad haul for the current market price of a MAK-90. |
