Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Looking for something in 5.45

I am looking for an AK in 5.45 to use as a range gun/plinker.  I am looking at the 5.45 because of cheap ammo.  This will be my first AK, I am not looking to add accessories or anything too much.  I really don't know AK's and want something ready to go without messing with it.  

I am looking for something decent, but I don't want to spend a fortune on it, thats what the AR's are for.  Something I can shoot cans and targets with.  

I am looking at the WASR-2, but it seems either people hate them or love them.  

What should I look for?
