Got this VEPR K 7.62 Carbine with a side mount for optics. I have'nt shot it yet and trying to learn more about it (AR's in my sleep)...... I would like to put a Halo sight on it similar to the ones I use on my AR's (C-more). Does anyone have info where the best place is to get a nice solid set-up that will hold adjustment? Feedback appreciated.

If you want the same dot view, my CMore on EE plus a side rail to weaver bracket such as the $40 Belarussian BP-02. This bracket tends to be about 1/8" off centerline, but a non-problem to me on a 100yd gun.
Other bracket varients exist, and there are also good Tonka Tuff Russian dots. |

Bought one 2 months ago. Put 1000 rounds through it, love it. Shoots as good as my RRA CAR15 at 100yrds. I to am looking for optics for mine as well.
Will look back to learn more. |

Mainly will be used for inside 75yds... defense............ Thanks. My eyes are not the greatest and hard sites are hard for me to use.....

Here's a few to look at, and compare fit/cheek weld from sample pics. Some have just a dot, and others have bigger, more directional reticles. |

My VEPR K has the EO-Tech 512 mounted on the Belarus BP-02. I was surprised when I checked it with the laser boresight and it was right on. I have not had to make any adjustments. The mount/sight have held zero for 1000 rounds. If your needs are mostly inside 100 yards and your eyes aren't as good as they used to be (like mine), you'll find it hard to like anything more than the EO-Tech. It's easy, fast, and simple.

If someone had a left hand side folding ace stock, would it interfere with the optics rail if the optics were removed???
