I buddy wanted a good scope mount for his Saiga12 so I found a good price on a Saiga scope mount with integral 1" rings. He is using a 2.5x scope so his problem is solved.
Now for mine. I bought me a scope mount also (why not  ) and I want to put a red dot in it. Most of the good red dots seem to be in 30mm or larger. Any suggestions on a good 1" scope for me? I am not looking to pay big money, just a descent scope.

So you need compact to keep the eye relief far enough fwd.
Several 3gunners use a Simmons Pro Diamond 1-4x to get them from point blank to 300yds with variedx and bracketed comeups with the interesting reticle. Not sure about it's big caliber life though. For double the price the Bushnell 3200 1-4x is both strong and clear. Not aware of any decent red dots for 1", but just $150ish gets 2 choices in commie red dots that include the side brackets and 30mm ring options. |
