I really like the PK-AS. Can be used with either left or right eye, doesn't need batteries for daytime use, irons instantly available for backup, circle/dot reticle is great for both fast close-up work & distance shots, receiver cover can be removed for cleaning/maintenance w/o removing the PK-AS.

Don't own one yet, but a big fan. There are 3 mount options, straight up bracket so it is left of center, angle bracket so it is over center, and weaver base. Be aware that this dot model has an eye relief so it works fine in the normal rear mount, but will not work in a fwd mount over the bbl. The center dot is etched in the glass, so the unit always works. |

I'm thinking of the model just like Tomac's. I happen to be left eye dominant and right handed so it just might work out better for me.
