Guys,

I need your help. I am working a security contract in Afganistan and because our weapons have not arrived yet we are deploying with AKs. I need to know who makes the rail mount that replaces the handguard, and where to aquire them. They will be used to mount Aimpoints.

Roughly $80, also sold at FAC/gunsnstuff.net if I recall.

Occasional reports of needing to file for a slightly shorter gas tube or shim at the gas tube lever by the rear sight base. Usually fit just fine and stable.
