Looking for (experienced) opinions.
For mounting a red dot sight, would ya'll prefer the side rail mount or one of those gizzywidgets that replaces the gas tube? I'm assuming the AK 47 gas tube gizzywidget will go on a 74 OK.

Unless you already have an optic on hand that you really, really want to use on the AK, get a Kobra which includes the siderail mount as part of the whole unit. Very good piece, real miltary tough, about $140 delivered.
