I need a high rise mount to clear Russian NVG-14 NV goggles and I found this model- seems to get good reviews

which seems to be a copy? of the one above.
Has anyone used either one? is the AD mount worth the price over the Weaver  one for 67$?

The ADM mounts are top notch, very high quality.  I have four ADM mounts on various ARs and one AK, very well made and designed.  I won't comment on the Weaver since I have no experience with it.

If you don't need the qiuck release/return to zero feature, the Weaver Tactical will do you good, but remember it has the thumb screw/lever/tighty thing-- might work loose unless you lock-tite it down right. If you want quick release and reattachement with negligible loss/return to zero, the ADM can not really be beat.
