Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AK rear sight question

I was wondering if anyone makes a rear sight that mounts on the rear of the reciever on the stock screw, I know that Krebs has a whole rail thing in the works but I just really want a rear sight, does anyone know of anything like this out there?

yeah, pretty much, but in a BUIS style AR type peep sight

Not aware of any, and suspect most would find a post stuck up back there to be wayyy to close to their eyes

If you don't need the elevation dial, you can probably rig an AR windage adj aperture onto the back of the $70ish Beryl-type rail at Copes Distributing.

I was wondering if i could buy something along the lines of what is mounted on this badboy? I wonder how well it would work with the stability of the dust cover.
