Hey guys

I just bought 2 clear 7,62x39 Promag Industries mags for my Vector ak-47 but they don't fit.
They won't fit up in the magwell.  However the 2 Romanian mags i bought at the same time fits fine. Should I just assume they are faulty mags? The promags are plastic and the Romanians are steel. The ak is new, and never fired. any thoughts?

Polymer mags, including the better Bulgarian Waffle 7.62 mags, ocassionally need to be filed down where they go into the mag well of the AK. Just try to see what corner(s) or side(s) need a bit of filing down and do it. I needed to file down a corner on a Bulgy 40-rounder recently and it only took a few minutes. Promags are not as good as the Bulgy's, and I've never owned any 7.62 Promags, but I would assume it's the same principal.
