Do these fall into the "too rare to hope for" category, or is there somewhere you can buy them? If so, where, and how much? I'm sure it's ungainly as all hell but it looks so cool, and it's unique.

I think I saw these at a gun show here in Salt Lake, Utah. Are you talking about the 100 round double stack clip for the AK (not the drum). A guy had them for sale but they all sold. I would have bought one but I don't own a 7.62X39mm AK. He also had 75 round clips for sale.
