Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - .223 Bulgarian Waffle Mags

Would it be possible to change out the .223 followers for a 5.45 follower and have a AK-74 waffle mag?  Has anyone tried this?  I like the look of the .223 waffle but I don't have a .223 so I cant use them obviously.  Thanks for the info.
