I just picked up a Molot RPK bakelite 40 round mag at the gunshow.
No pics yet but it appears to never have been in a rifle and the
ink stamps are perfect. I've only seen these on the internet.
Any idea what its worth?

If it's a 5.45mm mag, then they tend to cost around $45-$55 on GB, the 7.62mm mags are much more pricier because they are harder to find; you might be looking at around $150 for them.

Yes, RPK was made in 5.45x39 as well. The 7.62x39 RPK Bakelite mags are pretty expensive, not many were made before the RPK was replaced by the RPK-74. You can get a lot of the metal ones, but Bakelites, not so much, so if you got it for less than $100 you got a deal.

Man- nice score.  I'd like a pair for the collection myself.
