Are the Chinese mags hard to find or at all rare?  I haven't seen any advertised anywhere and I have a chance to buy 10 for $150.  I really don't need any more mags but I'd hate to pass on a good deal.  So is there anything special about a Chinese 30 round mag?

More important question, do you need 10 of them?

You only need 30 when the 29th runs dry.

I have some chinese mags, I feel they're of lower quality than the other combloc mags I have.  You can squeeze the mag and you can feel the sides move in like on aluminum HK91 mags.  None of my other steel AK mags do that.

The point is not the quality but the collector's value. I've seen them sell on the EE for $30. I just traded nine of them for the equivalent of $170 in Hungarian AK mags. I wanted to move them out, not wait twenty years for them to be worth $50. I wouldn't use them. Either sell/trade them of grease 'em up and store them.
