Yea the safety glasses help a lot. I just have a problem finding the small damn springs.

+1 on the Wolff Springs and the safety glasses.

I took a pistol mag spring to the face once, 1/2" more and it would've hit my eye.    I got lucky.

Of all the used/surplus com-bloc mags I've purchased, one had a spring that was noticeably weaker than the others.  This mag also had feeding problems which were cured with a new spring.
