Okay, on January 27, 2006 I ordered 4 cases of Wolf FMJ, from an old SG web page still accepting orders . The ship date was supposed to June 29, 2006:

After a few weeks, the ship date changed to 03/30/06. Well, this morning I do my daily SG account page check, and the ship date had been changed to 01/28/06. WTF? I called SG just now, and the nice lady informed me that they would be shipping my order in couple of days, and to ignore the date on the account page.

I just wanted to let everyone know who ordered from that old page (I found the link in a thread in this forum in late January) with the initial ship date of June 29, 2006, that you might want to call and check on your order.

I'll update this thread after delivery, hopefully they will honor the original price as it was when I ordered.

I ordered on 01/28/06. Supposedly mine shipped today EDIT: And they honored the cheap price.

Not any more....I called and they said the price was now $119.95 for that item number.

Yea, mine is going out soon too.

It's been my experience that when they're ready to ship a backorder, the date reverts back to whenever you first ordered. Shortly thereafter you should get your tracking number.

Mine did the same.  Was at 3/21/06, then just today went to 1/22/06.  Said it was suppossed to ship soon.

Got my E-mail from them it is SHIPPED.

just found out they shipped my 4000 today insted of in june as they first said.

got an E mail from SG today 2k shipped yesterday and the old price was used  this was ordered the 1st week in JAN  

Just checked my order and my expected ship date has been bumped up by one month.  At the time of order I was told it would ship in June, then it was changed to 4/28 and today it shows it will ship 3/31! Order was placed Feb 22nd 06.  If it ships on 3/31 it will have only been a 1month 1week backorder wait.  Not bad.

I ordered 2 spam cans 2/18/06 and they arrived 3/21/06.  I'll gladly wait a month verse paying some outrages price.

Got my 2k FMJ today. Got them for 163.93 delivered to my door. I kinda regret not buying a few more, having an extra 4 or 5 thousand laying around wouldnt have hurt much besides my pocket book.

I ordered 2 cases on backorder at the old price.  Yesterday I received two seperate e-mails (with two seperate tracking numbers) that said 2 cases were shipped.  I could be getting 4 cases instead of the 2 that I ordered.  I really hate when that happens.    It could be my lucky day.

They send an email for each package, I received four emails from SG saying my order had been shipped...AND I JUST RECEIVED MY ORDER FROM THEM THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, ya hear alot of grief about SG here, but in my book, they are KING! I received 4 cases of FMJ for $337.86 shipped. The shipping charge was $37.99, that's $9.50 shipping per case. I waited until I had the actual invoice from "box one" before posting results on my transaction, just to be absolutely sure they honored the $75.97 price (they did).

I've read a bunch of posts about how bad SG is, changing prices and such, but they did me right. Maybe it makes a difference if you are a Club Member or not (I am).

The first time I called Customer Service at SG, a lady answered the call on the third ring....a person actually answered the phone call, it took a few seconds for the shock to wear off before I could speak.

  You are correct.  I got the two boxes today(1,000 rds each).  The e-mails are misleading as they both said Quantity ordered 2 -  Item 1,000 rds.  I thought maybe they messed up.  They have messed up in my favor before.

I got my 2K yesterday at $75.97 per K.

Now, the same stuff is listed for like $113, wish I would have ordered more
