I bought the last 20 boxes of Wolf 7x62x39 my local Gander Mountain had in stock last Saturday.

The next day, I drove 75 miles to another store and bought all that they had.

(it was on sale for $2.49 per 20 round box, and I was frustrated that nobody else had any)

I went back to my local store today to get an insulated flannel shirt that was on sale,
and they were still out of Wolf.

But I noticed they had three boxes of Olympic 7.62x39.

$4.49 per 40 round box.  I grabbed them and headed to the cashier.

Ironically, she was on the phone with someone asking about 7.62x39 ammo.

She told them that someone had bought all that they had, and they hung up.

Being a smart-ass, I admitted that I was the one who bought them out last weekend.

She said no, that they had a few cases come in a couple days ago, and someone
bought them before they even opened the boxes.

With Gander Mountain being able to get it so readily, I'm hoping that the
market will soon be flooded with it again.  More than $1.50 a box is more than
I anticipated when I started buying these AK varients.

gander mnt here in nc has plenty of wolf the last few times i was there this past week.

My local Gander had 5 cases of 7.62x39 ont he shelves for $124....first time I've seen it in a while around here

They sell the ammo for the evil rifles, but wont sell the evil rifles
because they want to be PC...
A couple months ago their stock value was almost down to 1 share = 1 box Wolf 7.62x39 ammo.
