I was at the gun show at Cedar Rapids, Iowa yesterday.

The cheapest 7.62x39 ammo was Wolf FMJ $150/case.

People were actually buying it at other tables for $3.75 a box.

I remember seeing Norinco at a gun show 10 years ago for $0.97 a box.
Doubt it will ever be that cheap again.
Too many people have guns, and gun stores know people will pay higher prices for it.

ANYWAY, I drove a few blocks over to the local Gander Mountain store.

They had just received 5 cases of Wolf hollow points.

It was still very expensive at $2.49 a box.

I just called them and they DO have 5.45x39 in stock.

I picked up a 1,000rds for $100 at a gun show last night.

It was his one and only case though.

try cedar valley outfitters in marion they usually have good prices on wolf he also has been known to carry the 200 round battle packs (brass cased iirc). earnie is a good guy he sold me my first ak.

ETA you think that $2.49 is expensive come to fort myers cheapest ive found in town is $5.95 a box of 20 for wolf.
