Ordered in middle of Dec and it came in the mail on Tuesday. Not bad from SG.

I have ordered just short of 10,000 round in the last 3 months from SG and have not had any orders canceled. I received 2800 last week and will get 1200 more today. If they are canceling large orders them they missed me.

So, how much is too much from SG?
I got four cases in yesterday and another coming today. All ordered in late Nov. to early Dec. Funny thing is two cases were canceled in order to get the tuna cans of ammo and they shipped (And billed.) them to me anyway! Two weeks after I canceled and got confirmation back of it! The tuna cans were supposed to be here sooner than the 1k cases. That got turned around.  Now I have to call them today and try to cancel the order for the tuna cans. I'd say right now they're better at filling orders than at cancelling them! |

I had an order with SG for 7.62x39 ammo, 640 rounds to a can for $54.97. They accepted backorder on this sale price. When I got my back order invoice, they jacked the price up to 74.97 and told me that the price I originally bought at was a club members. That is BS because I remember it was 2 bucks off the already sale price to members. Can you believe that members would get 20 bucks off a can of ammo?!
Anyway, I think they realized they had so much demand that they decided to screw people with the backordered sale price. I canceled my order because they refused to honor their price and sales order. Buyer beware. |

I would do a cc chargeback for the difference. Just save your copy of the original e-mail stating the price. I just received 4 cases of 7.62 and 5.45 ammo that I ordered over a month ago. It seems to be that they never have enough in stock. This is how I always order ammo from them. When I get down to only two cases, I always place an order. It's always backordered, and I usually get it when they said it would ship. Sometimes earlier. Sure, they have my cc info, but never charge the card until it is shipped. I always use their $20.00 off coupons as well. Best deal around. |

I ordered 2000 rds of 7.62x39 in the begining of January. I was told that it would be on backorder until March. I just got an email on Wed. saying that it was shipped

I ordered 6400 rounds of 7.62x39. 2000 rounds 5.45x39 and 1200 rounds of .303 british. I still have 3840 rounds of 7.62 and 2000 5.45 on back order. Back order is the reason it was ordered. I most likly wont order again this year. Other things to work on. The odd thing is some folks here ordered the same ammo after me and received their before me. Makes me wonder how SG fills thier orders.

I ordered my first 4 spam cans 6 nov and received them jast friday. It might be a while untill they show up. Then again some folks here placed their order mid to last nov and received their spam cans the first week of Jan. They will show up.

I just got a backorder notice today in the mail saying my HP spam can would ship in the next 30 days. What I don't understand is how is the FMJ in a spam can cheaper then the HP now? A week ago they were the same price now it is cheaper. Anyone know anything about this?

Sorry for not getting back to you. I've had all sorts of trouble trying to log on to AK47.net. Anyways... I ordered the HP in spam can for $52 and when I got my backorder notice the price showed $71.22. That day I went online to check on ammo and the FMJ was cheaper. As seen here: 7.62x39 ammo. Look at the two spam cans and you'll see the price difference. I don't know what the deal is. Then I also couldn't use the $5 off coupon because I had already used it once. In fact I've used it many times but now all of a sudden I can't use it. Go figure... |

About the coupon I had the same problem with the $20.00 and the $15.00 coupon. Since I used it once already SG wont let me use the same number. I guess you can only use it once.

Dang Slug-O and I thought I was bad for the 5 cases I bought. I still have 6 spam cans and 2 cases of 5.45 on back order. Good thing work will keep me from the computer for a few months or I might have twice that by next month.
