I can get it at Gander Mtn for around $2.69/box. I'd rather have FMJ.

Local Dunhams had FMJ & HP polymer Wolf on sale last week for $2.50/box. I got 6, and now I think I should have gotten more.

The Dunhams had it on sale. If you check the ad every week you'll notice it goes on sale atleast once a month. You're right though inferno, their regular price is outrageous. They probably had 3-4K on the shelf when I was there. About half and half between HP & FMJ
slaphappy1- I live in Wausau; if their is a Dunhams in Madtown you should check there once in a while to see if they have ammo on sale that week. |

My grandparents live in Hamburg! I am in the town of Stettin  I looked and Madison does have a Dunhams, but Wolf isn't on sale this week. If you are looking for cheap ammo and can wait a few months, here is a link to an old coded Sportsmans Guide spam can www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=174567 Not sure how much longer they will keep accepting this old code at this price. I ordered 2 cans and it came out to $114 shipped for 1,280 rounds after a $10 coupon(make sure you always Google for a coupon when making SG orders). It's on backorder for who knows how long, but at $1.78 a box shipped I can wait. |

I'm in Madison. Anyone know if there's currently 7.62x39 available at Dick's, either Dunham's, or either Gander Mountain in town? I guess I should just get off my lazy ass and call around...

I bought my first 40 rounds for my AK at that store. They told me they had more on their computer, but we couldn't find it. I guess they found it after I left. That's OK, my 1000 from Sportsman's Guide just showed up today. I'm a happy guy. |
